Mike Lee Kanarek

Mike Lee Kanarek trained a large group of students at North Easton school of America's Best Defense. He is the master teacher of Haganah, an advanced form of Krav Maga. He reviewed several defenses and taught some extra tactics for when/if things go wrong. His teaching style is unique, with a humorous mix of stories, hard work and playful verbal abuse!

America's Best Defense Black Belt Awards

Here is a five-minute edit of the black belt awards at the North Attleboro High School. This features stills and video, shot with the Canon 7D. Audio track is from the Zoom. The show was several hours long, so this is the result of quite a lot of editing. Thanks to Master Garcia for a moving and inspiring show. Red belts

Alex and I were awarded red belts in Krav Maga last Thursday. If white is a 1, and the black belt is is a 10, this is an 8. Next comes half red/half black; then the black belt in hopefully another 12-18 months. Congrats to the students who survived the tests yesterday to earn their brown belts. Pictures are here.
